We have had a great start to the school year.  First of all on a personal note it is so fantastic to have the same class again and continue to develop them.  They are a complete joy and I feel very lucky.  Thank you for all those beautiful cards, emails and letters that I received at the end of the year and the kind gifts.  

We have begun our class novel "Survivors" and looked at the story of Prosperi in the Sahara.  It gave us lots of great chat and we worked on summarising the key events and ordering them in priority giving justififed reasons for our choices.

We have also looked at the tallest mountains in the UK and the water cycle.

Some great work has been done by all.  Well done to our first Weekly Star, Harry Walters and our second Reuban Ogden.

We also had some great announcement for those chosen as House Captains and our school prefects. Well done to you all.  There will be many more chances to have some additional responsibility and roles in school in the future.
