Homework: PURPLE HOMEWORK BOOKS MUST BE RETURNED TO SCHOOL EVERY WEDNESDAY
Maths - Complete the x12 multiplication and division fact sheets in the homework books.
Timetables - Learn the 7 and 8 times tables specifically this week. Use the BBC sites below, Timestable Rockstars (jamming section). Also, the Learning with Emile app/website (any problems using the app, please contact support@emile-education.com) will have tasks set each week that need to be completed at home.
Reading - Read 4 times each week and record it on your bookmark when you have finished the book. Books must be read more than once: together with an adult and independently. We encourage you to ask your child lots of questions about what happens in the story, where events occur, how characters feel and why (some books have questions at the back). This is to help them to develop essential comprehension skills, as well as fluency of reading.
Spelling - See Weekly Tests tab and the next test is week 3 (spelling test every Friday). You can also practise spellings from previous weeks as well to retain that knowledge.
