Homework

Homework: PURPLE HOMEWORK BOOKS MUST BE RETURNED TO SCHOOL EVERY WEDNESDAY

Maths - Complete the times tables colouring activity sheet.

Timestables - The aim is to have 4 sessions each week at home.

This week, the focus is to learn and revise the 8 and 9 times tables. Please use the BBC sites below, Timestable Rockstars (Soundcheck section). Also, the Learning with Emile app/website (any problems using the app, please contact support@emile-education.com) will have tasks set each week for the children to complete.

Reading - Read 4 times each week and record it on your bookmark when you have finished the book. Books must be read more than once: together with an adult and independently. We encourage you to ask your child lots of questions about what happens in the story, where events occur, how characters feel and why (some books have questions at the back). This is to help them to develop essential comprehension skills, as well as fluency of reading.

English - Learn, revise, what an expanded noun phrase is and then create five of your own in your homework book.
