Homework
Homework: PURPLE HOMEWORK BOOKS MUST BE RETURNED TO SCHOOL EVERY WEDNESDAY
Maths - Complete the 'Subtract two 3-digit numbers with one exchange' sheet. Stick it into the purple homework book and bring the book into school on Wednesday.
Timetables - Learn the three times table specifically this week. Use Timestable Rockstars (jamming section). Also, the Learning with Emile app/website (any problems using the app, please contact support@emile-education.com) will have tasks set each week that need to be completed at home.
Reading - Read 4 times each week and record it on your bookmark when you have finished the book. Books must be read more than once: together with an adult and independently. We encourage you to ask your child lots of questions about what happens in the story, where events occur, how characters feel and why (some books have questions at the back). This is to help them to develop essential comprehension skills, as well as fluency of reading.
Spelling - See Weekly Tests tab (spelling test every Friday). Please relearn and practise all spellings for Autumn 1.
