Homework
Homework: PURPLE HOMEWORK BOOKS MUST BE RETURNED TO SCHOOL EVERY WEDNESDAY
21.5.26 - for the half-term holiday
Timestables - The Year 4 Multiplication Tables Check will be on Tuesday 9th June.
We ask that you ensure that your child continues to practice their tables at home during the holiday as often and as frequently as possible to ensure they are ready for the Tuesday of that first week back.
Please use the BBC sites below, Timestable Rockstars (Soundcheck section). Also, the Learning with Emile app/website (any problems using the app, please contact support@emile-education.com) will have tasks set each week for the children to complete.
Optional - to create a decorative version of our new school Mission Statement on the sheet in the homework books (please do not stick in).
Reading - Read 4 times each week and record it on your bookmark when you have finished the book. Books must be read more than once: together with an adult and independently. We encourage you to ask your child lots of questions about what happens in the story, where events occur, how characters feel and why (some books have questions at the back). This is to help them to develop essential comprehension skills, as well as fluency of reading.
Science - To assist learning with our new science unit, the children can use these sites to help them to understand, Animals including humans:
