Welcome to Year 1 with Mrs Martin, Mrs Reed and Mrs Appleton!

Hello Year 1, welcome back!

Hope you have all had a wonderful break, are well rested and looking forward to all of the exciting things ahead this term.

Reminders

• Please send a named bottle of water to school each day.
• Our PE days are Monday and Tuesday this half term, please come to school wearing your PE kit on those days.
• Please return Reading folders each day so that we can record school reading.
• Reading Books will be changed on Monday evenings. Please aim to read at least 4 times a week with your child, and sign the reading record book each time. If fewer than 4 reads are recorded, the same book will be returned home.
• Homework will be set each Friday and any written homework needs to be completed/handed in by the following Wednesday. Homework can be found on our class page under the Homework tab.
• Spellings can be found on the spelling tab of the Year 1 page. Our spelling test will take place on Friday's.
• Please clearly label all items of clothing.
