Homework will be given out on a Friday and due back the following Wednesday.

Any problems with homework please come and speak to us and we can see what we can do to help.

Homework due Wednesday 14th January 2026

Please complete the maths sheet which is stuck in your homework books and learn Spring 1 Week 1 spellings which are stuck in the front of your homework books.

You will also find the Phonics Screening Assessment that we did before Christmas in their reading folders. Please practise reading these words over the next few weeks until they can read all the words fluently.

Please continue to practice the sounds which are stuck in your homework book and tick them off when your child knows them.

Please continue to read at least four times a week, sign the reading diary and return to school each day.

Please also ensure reading books and diaries are returned on a Monday as well as the Friday, so that we can allocate new books and record spelling scores. Homework books are to be returned to school by Wednesday each week.
