21st September 2018

Date: 28th Sep 2018 @ 9:00am

This week we have been looking at earthquakes and where and why they occur.  We have done some drama and are starting to create information leaflets.  I cannot wait to see your homework to go with this.  With our English, the class are in the planning stage of thier own survival stories and the tension and techniques used are incredible!! I know this is going to be the best piece of narrative writing we have had from you.  In maths the focus has been on reaosning and problem solving surrounding multiplication and the inverse and as usual your efforts have blown me away.  Thank you. The science experiment planninng is also well underway and we will be testing the rates of evaporation next week.

I am hugely proud of the prefects this week and the subject leaders who led the Macmillan coffee morning. You represented the school so beautifully.  Thank you!

Also big well done to the weekly winner, Marco.  Your attitude to learning and school life is outstanding and you couldn't be working any harder.
