Culture Day!

We enjoyed celebrating Culture Day in Year 1/2!

Our focus was Kenya- we compared the lives of children in Kenya to ours and we learnt about the Masai Mara Tribe too.

We enjoyed getting messy when we made tribal masks, headdresses and necklaces!

We also read Handa's Surprise which is set in Kenya and tasted the exotic fruit that featured in the story... we voted for our favourite and the majority enjoyed pineapple the most!
