Final week

Date: 27th Oct 2017 @ 11:20am

This has been a fantastic week for us all in Year 5 with our World War 2 day as well as 2 successful nights of parents evening and our end of theme assembly on Friday.

The whole class have worked so hard throughout a long half term and achieved so much and made great progress. I would like to say a big thank you to them all as well as all the parents for the continued support.

Next term we will be looking at The Red Tree by Shaun Tan, The Promise by Nicola Davies and The Water Tower by Gary Crew.  In Science our topic will be Forces which will fit into our DT.  For Geogrpahy it will be a mapping unit.  As there is no homework over the half term (except Mathletics and Spellodrome) I would love it if the children could get out and about and use an example of a map and let us know all about this after half term (it could be as simpe as a map of a walk they've been on or a leaflet map of an attraction.)

Have a safe and wonderful half term and I will see you after your well deserved rest.
