Light Up for the NHS

Clap for the NHS or Light Up for the NHS

Fewer and fewer people are turning out to clap for our NHS front line workers and other heroes as the weather doesn’t lend itself to standing outside in the dark! We therefore thought it would be a nice idea to brighten up the Thursday evening instead and so have put our Christmas lights up around the front of the school porch, which we will turn on every Thursday.  So rather than clapping, fairy lights are our sign of appreciation and we wondered if parents and pupils of St Mary’s would support and encourage others to do the same every Thursday?
